Enjoy the versatility of a layered felt and vinyl butterfly that is perfect for decorating planters, making hair accessories and barrettes, or even hanging as decorative wall art in a kid's room! Most pieces of this SVG cutting design were cut out using stiff felt (regular felt can also be used). A piece of metallic heat transfer vinyl (HTV) was used for the decorative layer on the wings. We finished things off by adding sequins to the flower centers. A hot glue gun was used to assemble the layers.

This motif can also be cut out of wood, MDF, acrylic, and more using a laser cutter like Glowforge, then assembled with your choice of adhesive or glue.
