Whimsical and magical ambience is within reach with a stunning luminary made to look like a flower composed of butterfly wings. To complete this design, cut out the wing details using cardstock, and cut out the solid wing pieces using vellum. Then sandwich the vellum pieces between cardstock using adhesive to assemble. Each luminary will be made out of two finished cardstock and vellum rounds that have been assembled separately. The wings are then held upright by placing adhesive on the connector pieces. We added adhesive crystals to the connector pieces for extra glamour and flair. Finish off your luminary by placing a battery-powered tealight at the center - it's sure to cast an illuminating glow.
